I met this beautiful family (Eric, Edelissa, Evan and Sofia) through the many events I’ve attended of Charity’s, who happens to be her first cousin. They were either through her bridal shower, wedding, housewarming, baby’s baptism and so on. Needless to say, she’s seen the wide variety of photos I’ve taken of her cousin. I was psyched to see her inquiry on my inbox for their family photos! After a few mishaps that caused us to reschedule, we finally nailed down a date. It was supposed to rain and we were almost going to cancel again. However, the sun decided to show its glowing face and was able to meet up one beautiful afternoon.

We met at the Lincoln Park Nature Boardwalk. Evan, their cute little 2 year old boy, was not feeling it in the beginning. Good thing Mom and Dad were good at bribing him! He was promised a balloon afterwards! Baby Sofia was such a sweetheart. She’s so quiet but she has such as sweet smile when she decides to show ’em to you! It was so nice to get to know this wonderful family and I can’t wait to work with them again!
