Lockport Mini-Sessions

Family, Portraits

I’ve been thinking about ways to break it to my closest friends about our BIG NEWS. We needed to get them together without them suspecting anything. I figured, some of them have always wanted family photos taken by me but have not been able to all these years I’ve been doing this professionally. So, Erick and I decided to organize an indoor family photoshoot at our house. Although half of them couldn’t make it, it was still eventful!

I can talk about how we told them our announcement on another blog post. For now, I’m excited to share quite a few of my favorite photos from that day. I’ve always wanted to get a teepee and do portrait sessions that way. We got this one from Amazon (LINK)! I threw in from floral decors from the clearance section of Michaels and the throw pillows and blankets from Homegoods.

Meet MICHELLE

chicago-based
photographer

What started as a childhood hobby evolved into a great passion. Hours after I got engaged, I browsed through dozens of wedding photographers' portfolios and realized I was looking at my dream job. I fell in love with the idea of telling people's stories in images rather than words. It is my utmost goal to make you look back at these memories we create together as if you're experiencing these moments again, nostalgic yet exquisite.
