Faith & Francis’ paths have crossed a long time ago in the Philippines. They even walked together on their 6th grade graduation ceremony. No, they weren’t even friends. But somehow, they have photographs together. Several years later, they were living separate lives in the US – Faith in Illinois and Francis in California. Through the power of social media, they connected through mutual friends.  Their online friendship flourished into something beautiful. Who would have guessed that it would lead to wedding bells!

Faith is one of my bestfriend’s older sister. Knowing I am in the wedding industry, she asked me questions and suggestions on vendors etc. I was helping her find a wedding coordinator. When she couldn’t find a perfect fit, she jokingly asked if I can just do it. LOL! I said yes! If you didn’t already know, photographers tend to play the role of wedding coordinators if our clients don’t have one for the day. I actually had a lot of fun doing it!

They hired a wedding videographer and had scheduled a video shoot in the city before their wedding. These lovebirds were nice enough to have me tag along and snap a few shots of my own! It was a beautiful morning in downtown Chicago for an engagement session and it could not have been more perfect! Check out some of their romantic, and some quirky photos, below!
