Frame Park Senior Session Waukesha:Sydney

Portraits, Senior

Here’s a senior session at Frame Park in Waukesha I’m so proud of! Sydney is our previous client’s younger sister (Aubrey). Their mother, Jamie, works with my husband, Erick, and has been very supportive of our photography business for years now. When she reached out to us despite our move to Illinois, we didn’t hesitate to drive back up to Wisconsin for it! In fact, we were able to schedule two senior sessions to shoot in one day!

We really enjoyed working with Sydney. She’s so ideal to work with because her smiles and giggles are so infectious! I swear, I thought I was photographing a pro! What really drew me during our session are her gorgeous blue eyes! I’m so glad she isn’t afraid of me getting some tight shots! I remembered being mesmerized by Aubrey’s eyes too when I shot her senior session a couple of years back.

It was a bit chilly that day but she pushed through without ever complaining. We were prepared though since we brought a blanket she can use in between shots. However, she barely used it. She looked so comfortable in her floral red top and jeans. She followed my prompts and instructions with ease, be it dangling her feet through the concrete fence, lying down with her stomach touching the ground, flipping her gorgeous curls over and over again or walking towards a boat ramp. I love working with folks who are up for anything! As a result, these amazing shots were taken.

I’m sure your mother, Jamie, misses my husband’s goofiness and he misses everyone in Wisconsin too. Lastly, great job on your senior session at Frame Park, Sydney! I hope you love them as much as I do. I wish you all the best luck in the world in your college and career endeavors. I’m sure you’ll do really well, Sydney!

What started as a childhood hobby evolved into a great passion. Hours after I got engaged, I browsed through dozens of wedding photographers' portfolios and realized I was looking at my dream job. I fell in love with the idea of telling people's stories in images rather than words. It is my utmost goal to make you look back at these memories we create together as if you're experiencing these moments again, nostalgic yet exquisite.
